Saturday, February 13, 2027 | President’s Day Weekend
Grants, New Mexico

Get ready for one of New Mexico’s most distinctive endurance challenges. The Mt. Taylor Winter Quadrathlon returns for its 44th year, bringing athletes to Grants for an unforgettable race from the community to the summit of 11,301-foot Mt. Taylor—the highest peak in northwest New Mexico—and back again.

Four Sports. One Mountain. One Epic Challenge.

The Mt. Taylor Winter Quadrathlon is a 43-mile winter endurance race combining four disciplines:

Bike • Run • Ski • Snowshoe

Competitors climb from Grants toward the summit of Mt. Taylor before reversing course and completing each discipline on the descent.

Whether you want to take on the entire mountain yourself or tackle it with teammates, the QUAD offers multiple competition options, including Solo, Pair, and 3–4 Person Team categories.

The Kids Quad also returns in 2027, giving younger athletes an opportunity to get involved and experience the excitement of QUAD weekend.
